GERARD GRANSAULL, P.Eng.

  • Graduated in 1989 from the University of Waterloo with a BASc in Mechanical Engineering
  • Designated by Professional Engineers of Ontario as a licensed Professional Engineer in 1992
  • Designated as a Registered Home Inspector by the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors in 1996
  • Senior Inspector at Carson, Dunlop & Associates Ltd. from 1990 to 2000. Duties included:
    • Inspecting over 5,000 residential and commercial buildings of various descriptions and reporting on conditions of major systems including structure, building envelope and mechanical systems, Specific Problem Investigations, and Pre-Renovation Inspections
    • Technical contributor to the Home Study System comprehensive inspection training program
    • Technical research and technical writing
    • Technical presentations, including at the CAHPI National Conference
    • Training of new engineers
  • Engineering Manager at Carson Dunlop & Associates Ltd. from 2000 to June 2006. Duties included:
    • Full Profit and Liability responsibility for the Home Inspection division including fiscal planning, tracking and resource management

    • Management of Customer Relations including conflict resolution and legal intervention, including Court case preparation and representation
