·Building Consultant, CDW Engineering, 2009-present. Responsible for the coordination and execution of PCA’s, energy audits, and measurement & verification.

Instructor for the Home Inspector training course at Seneca College (2005/06, 2009). Modules taught include “Interiors and Insulation ” and “Roofing”.

Project Manager, Environmental Due Diligence Group, Golder Associates Ltd. 2006-2009. Responsible for the coordination and execution of Property Condition Assessments (PCA’s), typically large portfolios. Projects for one client during the period of 2007-2009 totaled approximately 750.000,000 sq.ft. (per client’s records). Inspected properties throughout Canada as well as Spain, Portugal, Mexico and the United States. Also coordinated work in Peoples Republic of China, New Zealand, Australia, and Brazil. Also managed various building envelope projects ranging from inspections (new construction/repair) and specialty building envelope investigations to specification and contract administration.

Inspector/Engineer Carson Dunlop & Associates Limited 2004 - 2006. Duties included inspecting over 800 residential and commercial properties reporting on of major components such as structure, building envelope, electrical and mechanical systems.

Project Engineer, Building Science Group, Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd., Vancouver. Responsible for coordination, oversight and participation in building investigations, pre-lease inspections, project management, production specification documents for building envelope projects, reports and tendering.

Project Engineer for Bodycote Materials Testing Canada Inc. (formerly Ortech Inc. / Ontario Research Foundation), now Exova. Involved in problem investigations requiring particular expertise or analysis (chemical analysis, spectrographic analysis, etc.). Involved in testing, research & development for building products and systems, including those employing the National Solar Testing Facility. Developed testing protocols and procedures.
